Dr. Zhu Chen, Minister of Health, met with Mr. Lars Rebien Soerensen (CEO of Novo Nordisk A/S), Mr. Ron Christie (Senior Vice President and General Manager of Great China, Novo Nordisk) and Dr. Kezhou Zhang (Vice President of Clinical, Medical and Regulatory Affairs, Novo Nordisk China) in Beijing in the morning of May 30, 2012. The discussion centered on the expansion of cooperation in diabetes was very productive and a mutual understanding has been achieved relative to new collaborative projects. Mr. Soerensen also looks forward to visiting the Chinese National Compound Library later this year.
