Distinguished guests from Denmark and New Zealand visited NCDS and CNCL

Professor Kristian Helin, Director of the Biotech Research and Innovation Center based in Copenhagen, and Professor Rod Dunbar, Director of Maurice Wilkins Center based in Auckland, visited the National Center for Drug Screening (NCDS) and the Chinese National Compound Library (CNCL) in the morning of April 23 and April 24, 2012, respectively. They received warm reception by Professor Ming-Wei Wang who briefly introduced the current status of these two national research establishments. Professor Helin gave a lecture entitled "Epigenetic targets in can cancer therapy" that elicited good responses among the audience. Professor Dunbar made this special stop on his way home following attendance to the 3rd China-New Zealand Joint Commission Meeting on Science and Technology held in Hangzhou.
