In the afternoon of January 10, 2020, Professor Dehua Yang, Senior Engineer Jia Wang, Senior Technician Qiang Shen and Senior Technician Hui Zhang from the National Center for Drug Screening (NCDS)/Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences held a teleconference, at the board room of the Chinese National Compound Library, with Drs. Wen Xiong (Director of Scientific Program), Shuo Chen (Principle Investigator) and Kun Sun (Investigator) from Global Health Drug Discovery Institute (GHDD, Beijing) jointly managed by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (U.S.A.). They discussed recent progresses made in a research collaboration project and agreed upon priorities and respective tasks for the next phase. Dr. Ming-Wei Wang, Director of the National Center for Drug Screening/Chinese National Compound Library and Dean of School of Pharmacy, Fudan University, who was on a business conference elsewhere, dialed in at the start of the teleconference, congratulating the progresses made so far and acknowledging the hard work and contributions of the team members of both sides.
