It was chaired by Professor Ming-Wei Wang (Director, the National Center for Drug Screening and Dean, School of Pharmacy, Fudan University) and attended by Professor Diether Lambrechts (Director, VIB Center for Cancer Biology), Professor Dehua Yang (SIMM), Ms. Jia Wang (Senior Engineer, SIMM), Ms. Yan Zhou (Assistant Professor, SIMM), Ms. Hui Zhang (Assistant Professor, SIMM), Ms. Jie Li (Graduate Student, SIMM), Professor Yan Li (School of Pharmacy, Fudan University), Mr. Yannan Qiu (Executive Director, Shanghai Biostar Technology Co., Ltd.), Mr. Tao Jiang (China Manager, 10´ Genomics, Inc., U.S.A.), Mr. Klaidas Bliuvas (Graduate Student, University of Copenhagen, Denmark) and Dr. Sooyoung Choi (President and CEO, Eutilex Co., Ltd., Korea), among others.
Following an overview by Dr. Ming-Wei Wang on the status of Sino-Belgian Collaboration Laboratory for Single Cell Analysis Technologies, Professor Di Zhu (School of Pharmacy, Fudan University), Dr. Junbin Qian (Research Associate, VIB Center for Cancer Biology, absence due to an unforeseen reason and represented by Dr. Diether Lambrechts), Ms. Ayse Bassez (Graduate Student, VIB Center for Cancer Biology), Dr. Sébastien Dumas (Postdoctoral Fellow, VIB Center for Cancer Biology) and Mr. Wai Long Tam (Manager, VIB TechWatch) in turn reported their research progresses which were enthusiastically responded by the audience. An agreement as to the next stage work priorities was reached among the attendants.
