In the morning of October 23, 2019, Drs. Steven Adams (Vice President), Tom Paul (Director, Biology) and Stephanie Shi (Director, Alliances and Collaborations) from Oncology R&D Operations, Pfizer Worldwide Research, Development & Medical (San Diego, California, U.S.A.) visited the Chinese National Compound Library (CNCL) and School of Pharmacy, Fudan University, respectively. They were warmly received by Drs. Ming-Wei Wang (Director of the National Center for Drug Screening/Chinese National Compound Library and Dean of School of Pharmacy, Fudan University) and Dehua Yang (Professor of Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences). During the visit, the honorable guests had a roundtable discussion with scientists from Fudan School of Pharmacy (Drs. Aijun Hou, Wei Lu, Yan Li, Wenfu Tan and Di Zhu), Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences (Drs. Yong Geng, Dehua Yang and Jiang Wang) and Shanghai Institute of Nutrition and Health, Chinese Academy of Sciences (Professor Landian Hu), which was chaired by Dr. Ming-Wei Wang. Both parties exchanged their research interests and topics of attention, thereby laying a foundation for potential collaborations.
