On August 22, 2019, Professor Ming-Wei Wang (Director of the National Center for Drug Screening/Chinese National Compound Library and Dean of School of Pharmacy, Fudan University) visited Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School and Shenzhen Bay Laboratory. He was warmly received by Professor Yundong Wu (Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Executive Deputy Director of Shenzhen Bay Laboratory) and Professor Zhen Yang (Vice Chancellor of Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School and Dean of School of Chemical Biology and Biotechnology). Dr. Wang made one-to-one exchanges with Dr. Zhendong Zhu (ChemTech Platform Director, Bay Ray Innovation Center, Shenzhen Bay Laboratory), Madam Jane Lee (Assistant Director, Translational Medicine Research Institute, Shenzhen Bay Laboratory) and Dr. Ralf Altmeyer (Chief Business Officer, Bay Ray Innovation Center, Shenzhen Bay Laboratory), and delivered an invited lecture entitled “Small molecule agonists for class B G protein-coupled receptors: past, present and future”, which was enthusiastically responded by the audience.
