Accompanied by Ms. Avril Yang (Project Manager of China Pharmaceutical Innovation and Research Development Association), the “Working Group of Experts on Drug Development” from Asian Pharmaceutical Association Conference (APAC, Japan) visited the Chinese National Compound Library (CNCL) in the afternoon of November 3, 2017. They included Dr. Atsushi Hasuoka (Senior Director), Hisanori Matsui (Director) and Keita Ishibashi (Associate Director) from Takeda; Dr. Shingo Yamasaki (Research Fellow), Mr. Zhengdao Li (Business Development Supervisor), Dr. Koichiro Sato (Associate Manager) and Dr. Kazunori Inabe (Senior Director) from Astellas Pharma Inc.; Mr. Noriyuki Matsumoto (Director of Japan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association) and Dr. Yoshiyuki Nakano (Scientist, Global Innovation Office, Shionogi & Co., Ltd). The honorable guests were warmly received by Professor Ming-Wei Wang （Dean, School of Pharmacy, Fudan University and Director of the National Center for Drug Screening/Chinese National Compound Library）. They were deeply impressed by the level of internationalization of this state-of-the-art R&D facility.
