Dr. M.-W. Wang meets Dr. Alexander Trevarton at Auckland

On his transit stop at Auckland during the return journey to Shanghai, Dr. Ming-Wei Wang (Dean, School of Pharmacy, Fudan University and Director of the National Center for Drug Screening/Chinese National Compound Library, Shanghai) met with his research collaborator, Dr. Alexander Trevarton and his wife Dr. Catherine J.Y. Cai from The University of Auckland. Dr. Wang also greeted their new born daughter, Anthea. They discussed the latest progresses jointly made in screening small molecule inhibitors of onco-protein YB-1 and the follow-up plans. Dr. Alexander Trevarton spent more than six months in 2015 at the Chinese National Compound Library performing his Ph.D. thesis studies under the supervision of Professor Wang.
