In the morning of May 16, 2017, Professor Edward Harlow of Harvard Medical School, member of the US National Academy of Sciences, the National Academy of Medical Sciences, American Academy of Arts and Sciences and American Academy of Microbiology, visited the Chinese National Compound Library (CNCL). He was accompanied by Professor Qiang Yu and Professor Min Huang from Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences and was warmly received by Dr. Ming-Wei Wang (Director, the National Center for Drug Screening (NCDS)/CNCL, Dean, School of Pharmacy, Fudan University). During the facility tour, Professor Harlow met with several foreign graduate students who are studying there. Thereafter, he went to Fudan School of Pharmacy and sincerely congratulated the joint innovation team consisting of scientist/graduate students from both Fudan School of Pharmacy (Dr. Li Ye, Dr. Wenfu Tan, Ms. Shanshan Jiang and Ms. Jun Yang) and NCDS (Dr. Dehua Yang, Mr. Antao Dai, Ms. Xiaoqing Cai and Mr. Guangyao Lin) who made major scientific breakthroughs recently.
