Delegates of Canadian Institute for Advanced Research visit CNCL

In the afternoon of November 7, 2016, a group of delegates involved in an international research collaboration project (Molecular Architecture of Life) administered by Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR) visited the Chinese National Compound Library (CNCL). Among them were Professor Oliver Ernst and Dr. Mikko Taipale (University of Toronto), Dr. Pamela Kanellis of CIFAR, Mr. Aidan Balo (Autodesk, Canada), Professor David Stuart (University of Oxford), Dr. Madan Babu (MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge), Professor Dwayne Miller and Dr. Eike Shultz (Max Planck Institute for the Structure and Dynamics of Matter, Hamburg) and Professor Sihyun Ham (Sookmyung Women’s University, Korea). They were warmly greeted by Professor Ming-Wei Wang (Director of the National Center for Drug Screening/CNCL and Dean, School of Pharmacy, Fudan University). The honorable guests highly commended the foundation principles, operating mechanisms and innovation achievements of this national resource-sharing platform for drug discovery. Mr. Wang Zhan (The iHuman Institute of ShanghaiTech University), Dr. Yu Liu (Assistant Dean) and Ms. Lulu Zhai (Foreign Affairs Assistant) from Fudan School of Pharmacy were present.
