Accompanied by Mr. Jian Zhao (Chief of Science and Technology Department) and Professor Yaping Li of Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences, CAS), the CAS Nanotechnology Pilot Project Supervision Group, consisted of Professor Wenshan Zhan (Former Director of Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry, CAS), Professor Shibi Fang (Former Secretary of Institute of Chemistry, CAS), Professor Lianfang Zha (Former Secretary of National Center for Nanoscience and Technology) and Professor Xun Shen (Institute of Biophysics, CAS), visited the Chinese National Compound Library (CNCL) in the morning of July 19, 2016. Dr. Ming-Wei Wang (Director of CNCL) warmly received them and briefed them in detail with the foundation principles, operating mechanisms and latest achievements of this national resource-sharing platform for drug discovery. The honorable guests toured the entire CNCL facility with interest and highly appreciated its operating mechanisms, service-oriented approaches and advanced technologies.
