Between June 20 and June 22 2016, Professor Patrick M. Sexton from Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (Melbourne, Australia) visited the National Center for Drug Screening (NCDS) and the Chinese National Compound Library (CNCL), respectively, for the second time this year. He was warmly greeted by Drs. Ming-Wei Wang (Director of NCDS/CNCL) and Dehua Yang (Associate Professor). Dr. Sexton has been a scientific advisor to NCDS since 2015. During the visit, he made several rounds of in-depth academic exchanges with some senior scientists, key technical staff and graduate students of NCDS and CNCL. Dr. Sexton also reported the work progresses made by two NCDS Ph.D. candidates, Ms. Yue Zhu and Ms. Saifei Lei, who are presently studying at his laboratory in Monash University.
