Mr. Zheng Han, member of the Political Bureau of the CCP Central Committee and Secretary of Shanghai CCP Committee, inspected the Chinese National Compound Library (CNCL) in the afternoon of April 14, 2016. He was accompanied by Dr. Xiaoming Shen (Standing Committee Member of Shanghai CCP Committee and Secretary of CCP Pudong New District Committee), Mr. Bo Zhou (Vice Mayor of Shanghai Municipality), Dr. Jiwei Sun (Deputy Secretary General of Shanghai Municipality Government and Governor of Shanghai Pudong New District), Madam Jing Wang (Vice Governor of Shanghai Pudong New District) and Madam Ye Yang (Director of Shanghai Zhangjiang High-Tech Park Administration Committee). Drs. Kaixian Chen  (Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences), Meiyu Geng (CCP Committee Secretary and Deputy Director of Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences), Jia Li (Deputy Director of Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences) and Jun Li (Deputy Director of Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences) warmly received the honorable visitors. Dr. Ming-Wei Wang (Director of CNCL, Director of the National Center for Drug Screening and Dean, School of Pharmacy, Fudan University) briefly reported the development history, operating mechanisms, innovation practices and service achievements of CNCL, which was highly appreciated. Attended the event were Drs. Fajun Nan (Deputy Director of CNCL), Jianmin Yue (Deputy Director of CNCL), Xin Xie (Deputy Director of the National Center for Drug Screening), Weiyue Lu (CCP Secretary of Fudan School of Pharmacy), Wei Fu (Assistant Dean of Fudan School of Pharmacy) and Yan Li  (Assistant Dean of Fudan School of Pharmacy), among others.
