Several domestic and international scientists visit CNCL

In the afternoon of March 16, 2016, several scientists from China and abroad, who will attend the 2016 Queenstown Molecular Biology Meeting in Shanghai, visited the Chinese National Compound Library (CNCL) and received a warm reception by Dr. Ming-Wei Wang, Director of CNCL and Ms. Jia Wang (Senior Engineer). They included: Professor Charles Boone from University of Toronto (Canada), Professor Roger K. Sunahara from University of California, San Diego (USA), Associate Professor Chad Myers from University of Minnesota (USA), Dr. Sheena Li from RIKEN Center for Sustainable Resource Science (Japan), Professor Huaqiang Eric Xu from Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor Tian Xia from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Professor Kyeong Lee from Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology (Director of Korea Chemical Bank). During the visit, Drs. Wang, Boone, Myers, Li, Xia and Dehua Yang (Associate Professor at Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica) conducted an in-depth discussion regarding the latest progresses and follow-up plans about an ongoing chemical genomics collaboration project between China, Canada, Japan and USA.
