Professor Jian Li from Monash University (Melbourne, Australia) visited the Chinese National Compound Library (CNCL) in the morning of November 9, 2015. He was warmly greeted by Dr. Ming-Wei Wang, Director of CNCL, and made several rounds of in-depth exchanges with some senior scientists, key technical staff and graduate students of the National Center for Drug Screening relative to their respective research progresses. During his visit, Professor Li also delivered an invited lecture at School of Pharmacy, Fudan University entitled “Trench warfare: combating gram-negative ‘superbugs’ by re-developing polymyxins”.
