Professor Peter K. Vogt (Einstein Chair Professor of Chinese Academy of Sciences) visited the Chinese National Compound Library (CNCL) in the morning of November 1, 2015. He received a warm reception by Drs. Ming-Wei Wang (Director of CNCL) and Fajun Nan (Deputy Director of CNCL). He made several rounds of in-depth exchanges with some senior scientists, key technical staff and graduate students of the National Center for Drug Screening relative to their latest research progresses. In the evening, Dr. Wang entertained Professor Vogt with a chamber music concert (piano quintet), held at Shanghai Symphony Orchestra Chamber Hall, in which Dr. Wang cousin, Ms. Haiye Ni (Principal Cellist of Philadelphia Orchestra, USA), performed cello.
