Led by Professor Jianhua Lin, President of Peking University, a group of honorable guests including Academician Song Gao (Vice President and Provost), Academician Qihuang Gong (Vice Provost), Dr. Hui Zhou (Director, Office of Scientific Research), among others, from Peking University visited the Chinese National Compound Library (CNCL) in the afternoon of September 14, 2015. They were accompanied by various leaders from Shanghai Municipality, Pudong New Area Government and Zhangjiang High-Tech Park Administration and received a warm reception by Drs. Ming-Wei Wang (Director of CNCL/NCDS), Fajun Nan (Deputy Director of CNCL), Xin Xie (Deputy Director of the National Center for Drug Screening, NCDS) and Professor Jingya Li. While touring the research facility, Professor Lin met with scientists from Peking University who are performing CNCL’s external projects as well as representatives of student interns from Malaysia. He expressed that the operating mechanism, management style and innovative culture of CNCL are well advanced, worth following, imitating and promoting.
