Professor Wanghua Chu, a renowned Chinese composer and his wife, Dr. Shirley Tang Chu, entertained Drs. Jian Ding (Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering), Meiyu Geng (Deputy Director), Yang Ye (Deputy Director), Ming-Wei Wang (Center Director) and Min He (Division Chief) from Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica (SIMM), Chinese Academy of Sciences with a home dinner at Melbourne in the evening of September 4, 2015. Among the invited guests included Professor Daniel Hoyer (Head of Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics of the University of Melbourne) and his wife, as well as several scientists of Chinese ethnicity.  Professor Chu performed several piano pieces composed by him during the dinner.
