Co-chaired by Professor Jianguo Hou (Vice Minister, Ministry of Science and Technology of China) and Mr. Paul Stocks (Deputy Chief Executive-Science, Skills and Innovation, Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment of New Zealand), the 4th China-New Zealand Joint Commission Meeting on Science and Technology Cooperation was held in Wellington on April 21, 2015. The two parties introduced their respective science and technology (S&T) policies and innovation systems, reviewed the status of bilateral S&T cooperation since the last joint commission meeting, listened to the collaboration progress reports made by relevant organizations, discussed cooperation in commercialization and innovation, and agreed on the future plan for bilateral S&T cooperation. As one of the Chinese delegates, Dr. Ming-Wei Wang (Director, the National Center for Drug Screening/Chinese National Compound Library) fully participated in the above activities.
