Michael Poole (Director, Office of the President, Global Health Division), Ken Duncan (Deputy Director, Global Health Discovery), Peter Warner (Senior Program Officer, Global Health Discovery and Translational Sciences), Ray Yip (China Director) and Kewen Jin (Business Development Advisor) of Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (USA) visited the Chinese National Compound Library (CNCL), Shanghai Zhangjiang Biopharmaceutical Base Development, Co., Ltd., the National Center for Drug Screening (NCDS) and Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences, respectively, on February 12, 2015. They were accompanied by Drs. Ming-Wei Wang, Fajun Nan and Jianmin Yue. At CNCL, the guests were warmly received by Mr. Lei Ding (Vice Governor of Shanghai Pudong New Area), Mr. Weigang Wang (Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of Shanghai Zhangjiang High-Tech Park), Mr. Jingqi Xu (Vice President of Shanghai Zhangjiang Group Co., Ltd.) and Mr. Lanzhong Wang (General Manager of Shanghai Zhangjiang Biopharmaceutical Base Development, Co., Ltd.).
