Professor Hui Xu (CPC Secretary), Professor Maode Lai (President and Academician of German Academy of Sciences), Professor Guangji Wang (Vice President and Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering), Professor Lingyi Kong (Vice President) and their associates from China Pharmaceutical University (CPU), based in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, visited the Chinese National Compound Library (CNCL) in the afternoon of December 30, 2014. They were accompanied by Mr. Yansen Shi (Office Director of Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences) and deeply impressed by the operation mechanisms, research facility and cultural atmosphere at CNCL.
