In the afternoon of November 20, 2012, Vice Governor of Shanghai Pudong New District, Mr. Song Peng inspected the Chinese National Compound Library (CNCL). He was accompanied by Professor Hualiang Jiang, Deputy Director of Shanghai Institutive of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Professor Dr. Ming-Wei Wang (Director of CNCL) briefly introduced the history and future plan of CNCL. Mr. Peng emphasized the importance for this state resource and technology platform to promote entrepreneur and innovation activities in Pudong through provision of high quality services.
