Led by Mr. Yoshiaki Tsukamoto (Executive Director of Japan Bioindustry Association) , the Japanese Biopharmaceutical Delegation visited the Chinese National Compound Library (CNCL) in the afternoon May 9, 2012. A warm reception was given by Professor Ming-Wei Wang who also briefly introduced the current status of this state key research establishment. Among the visitors were Dr. Hideharu Anazawa (Japan Bioindustry Association), Dr. Ara Katsutoshi (Kao Research & Development Center), Mr. Takeshi Inamori (Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma Corporation), Dr. Shoji Oda (KIHARA Foundation), Mr. Shinobu Masubuchi (Japan Science and Technology Agency), Mr. Nobuo Sakakibara (Japan Biological Informatics Consortium), Dr. Hiroyoshi Ohba (Takeda Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.), Dr. Kenji Sekikawa (PrevenTec, Inc.), Mr. Takahiro Matsui (ICS Convention Design, Inc.), Dr. Hideyuki Shirae (AJINOMOTO) and Dr. Masaru Oya (Japan Science and Technology Agency). The Japanese guests greatly appreciated the infrastructure and cultural environment of CNCL, and wish to establish collaboration channels.
