Dr. John Bondo Hansen from Denmark visited the Chinese National Compound Library (CNCL) in the afternoon of February 17, 2012. Professor Ming-Wei Wang warmly welcomed his old friend who has a profound relationship with this library. As the former Vice President of Chemistry at Novo Nordisk A/S, Dr. Hansen made tremendous efforts in developing its compound library that was later donated to China, and became affectionate to it as a result. He also visited the CNCL construction site a couple of years ago. When eyewitnessing this brand new state-of-the-art research facility as well as thousands upon thousands of familiar samples, Dr. Hansen was deeply touched and openly displayed his joyce. He said that he will continue to contribute his knowledge to the growth of CNCL.
